Here's
how it works.
Enter
into a contract with FAU for a negotiated prepaid amount.
You will receive a list of numbered prepaid "vouchers"
that will be used to enroll into regularly scheduled safety classes.
If you send just one employee to a 4-hour class using one voucher,
you will be getting a significant discount as a member of the Safety
Science Prepaid Voucher Training Program. An 8 hour class such
as the Confined Space Entry Competent Person Course, would require
2 vouchers.
Use
the Vouchers to register your employees into any of the safety
courses listed in Safety Science Web Pages here.
In
addition, if you have a group of 20 or more employees that need
a certain class, the vouchers may be used to schedule a class at
your time, place and convenience, depending on instructor availablity.
Your
membership in the program will be a part of your company's written
safety program. It could be the basis for a decrease in your Worker's
Compensation Insurance premium and, should you be cited by OSHA,
a significant reduction in OSHA fines.
